We arrived just before dark yet again. This place is rather nice.The interwebs tells me; Seventeen Seventy, also written as 1770, is a village in Queensland, built on the site of the second landing by James Cook and the crew of HM Bark Endeavour in May 1770. Total distance traveled: 5910km

Last night we stayed at Ayr but we arrived after dark and left early so didn’t do anything in a the area worth posting. Today we’re heading to Bolder Creek which is West of Mackay. (UPDATE The navigator was out by hundreds of kilometres and we’re near Rockhampton)

Cowley Beach

Another day and another camp with us as the only tourists. There is something to be said about holidays outside of the term breaks 🙂 This is a great spot, the kids made a cubby while the grown ups packed up… again! Total distance traveled: 4448km
